Iceland Diaries Post #1

If you arm twisted me to describe Iceland in a word, it would be - Indescribable!
Words simply don’t do justice to describe a place where every turn unfolds drama, mystic and majestic panoramas of natural wonders.
It’s a battlefield hosting a centuries-long scrimmage between fire and ice, where unpredictable weather makes it seem like four seasons have passed in the course of five minutes.
It is a land of baffling, beautiful contradictions. How do you explain a place that’s both archaic and constantly changing? Where lava meets ice? That’s both lush with greenery and a frozen tundra? That’s electrifying and calming at the same time?
No words, not even photographs can describe what it feels to be there. Its terrain is to be witnessed and the many life altering moments, to be experienced. Carry with you a child-like wonder, keep an intrepid sense of adventure, step boldly out of your comfort zone and you’ll experience Iceland in its raw and purest form. Will share a few pictures but I'll say again, Iceland - It’s indescribably beautiful.
Picture taken at Gerduberg - an impressive wall of Basalt Columns forming geometric patterns in the cliffs.
